Health care workers, our superheroes, are an extremely valuable part of the community. They often put in long hours to provide us with the highest level of care. Health care is at the forefront of providing care during times of need sometimes sacrificing their own health and comfort to save the lives of others.

Every day, police officers, correctional officers and other law enforcement personnel risk their lives to serve us. From local police to federal agents, these brave men and women dedicate their lives to ensuring our safety while facing unique challenges every day.

First responders are individuals and teams who continually demonstrate courage and selflessness by helping others during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. They are the people who selflessly offer aid in the face of emergencies or dangerous situations. First responders serve us in countless ways.

Child care providers are often unsung heroes who play a critical role in the well-being and development of our children. Through their hard work and dedication to fostering a safe and healthy environment, these remarkable individuals deserve our appreciation.

Educators play a key role in our society. Whether they are teachers, professors, school administrators, cafeteria workers, crossing guards, and other staff, they serve our children to be future leaders. Because the dedication of educators, students can reach their potential or make a positive impact on society. 

Military personnel are the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our country. From our local Guard members and Reservist to active duty, veterans, and surviving spouses, their bravery, commitment, and dedication should not go unrecognized. To our veteran community, thank you.
